Stephanie Plum is a bounty hunter who relies on dumb luck, sass and spunk to get her through the day as she tracks down bail jumpers and tries to bring them in with often hilarious results. It’s not her dream job but it pays the bills and keeps her pet hamster, Rex, fed.
There’s something about the narrative and characters that drags you in and has you laughing out loud before you’ve even finished the first chapter. It’s refreshing, it’s fun and has the perfect balance of sarcasm, plot twists and sexual tension to keep you turning the page. With 22 titles all based on numbers (One for the money, Two for the dough, Three to get deadly, Four to score etc) and some in between number titles (Plum Lovin’, Plum Spooky etc) you will have plenty of time to get to know Stephanie Plum and her crew. Word of warning, if you do read the whole series there’s a strong chance your vocabulary will suddenly expand to include the phrases like “the burg”, “hunh” and “damn skippy”.
